Flexible Worker Contract

About the role
We're seeking Examiners for the T Level in Education and Early Years to join us on a flexible worker contract.
As an Examiner, you'll be expected to mark external assessments as required and submit results throughout the Autumn and Summer marking windows.
How you'll make an impact:

• Following and maintaining the standard set by the Chief Examiner, applying the mark scheme consistently and accurately
• Reporting suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns to the Assessment Delivery team
• Attending examiner standardisation and training events, and other meetings as required - standardisation events will be scheduled for weekdays between the hours of 9.00am-5.00pm
• Maintaining the confidentiality of NCFE assessment materials, learner evidence and learner details, and report any breaches to the Assessment Delivery team

We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following:

• A professional qualification (at Level 4 or above) relating to the education and early years sector
• Current/recent teaching experience at level 3 or higher in an education or early years related subject
• An understanding of effective quality assurance mechanisms
• The ability to work consistently within tight deadlines

Interview Date: Between Monday 10 and Tuesday 18 November 2025 we're running regular group recruitment sessions for this position.
Our interview process is designed to be both insightful and interactive, giving you a real taste of what it's like to work with us. Here's what you can expect: * Pre-task: You'll complete a short pre-task where you'll mark 2-3 student responses.

• Discovery session: You'll join a group discussion led by one of our Chief Examiners. This is a collaborative space where you'll discuss your initial markings and gain valuable insights.
• Practical Task: After the group discussion, you'll apply what you've learned by marking an additional 2-3 student responses. This hands-on experience will help you understand our standards and expectations.
