Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Exam/Packer to join our Quality team at O'Neills. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are exam and packaged efficiently and meet our quality standards before they reach our customers. Located in Strabane, Co. Tyrone, this position plays a vital role in supporting our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
1) Ensuring all orders are quality checked, counted and are produced to exact specifications prior to dispatch.
2) Liaise with Production Manager/Supervisors and Team leader regularly throughout the day regarding any quality issues that may arise.
3) Liaising with relevant department heads, assist with the introduction and implementation of procedures that will enhance the overall quality of garments.
4) Produce daily and weekly quality reports for weekly production meeting. Report all issues to Production manager.
5) Provide support with quality control within different departments as and when required
6) Implement 5's project within department ensuring a more organised and efficient department.
7) Monitoring product standards and implementing agreed improvement and quality-control programmes.
8) Always maintain quality standards within the department, ensure all records and processes are carried out accurately and kept up to date.
Requirements
1) 1-2 years previous experience in quality inspection role.
2) Practical Skills, Precision and attention to detail,
3) Thorough approach to his/her work,
4) Must be prepared to carry out routine tasks time and time again while maintaining concentration and accurately following specified procedures,
5) good numerous skills and comfortable working with figures,
6) Must be able to deal with people in a tactful way,
7) Must be very co-operative,
8) Good motivator to encourage workers to produce good quality
9) Ability to work on own initiative.
10) The ability to work as part of a team and promote harmonious relationships
