Exams Officer
to join our dynamic Exams Department.
Working closely with the Group Exams Team Leader and Exams Manager, you'll help ensure the smooth and accurate delivery of examinations across our colleges -- with a particular focus on coordinating Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) for eligible students.
Key Responsibilities:
Take the lead on Exam Access Arrangements, liaising with curriculum and support teams.
Manage exam registrations, entries, and results - ensuring accuracy and compliance with awarding body guidelines.
Coordinate re-sits, fees, seating plans, and the smooth running of all examinations.
Organise invigilators and prepare materials for online testing.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate student records using internal systems.
Provide exceptional support to students, lecturers, and awarding bodies, resolving queries efficiently.
Assist with the distribution of results and certificates, and ensure data is handled confidentially and securely.
What You Will Bring:
Experience in administration, preferably in education or exams.
Excellent organisational and data-handling skills.
Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or G Suite.
A team player who can also work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Understanding of data protection and exam board regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
Level 2 Literacy & Numeracy (GCSE English & Maths grade C/4 or above).
