Would you like to join our exciting school dedicated to the achievement and well-being of our students and staff? Would you like to work with highly motivated students who are keen to succeed? The Green School Trust is seeking to appoint a dynamic, collaborative and innovative Exams Officer to join The Green School for Boys as soon as possible. This role represents an excellent opportunity to continue to develop the quality of education at the school, working with colleagues across the trust to support the progress of our students which is above national average for boys. We are looking for:

the ability to take initiative and responsibility excellent organisational skills excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills advanced IT and administrative skills experience of or a willingness to be trained in school exams processes a friendly, positive and open disposition a commitment to confidentiality, Data Protection and Safeguarding previous experience working in a school environment would be an advantage

The Green School for Boys is part of The Green School Trust, a Church of England Multi Academy Trust which also runs the recently opened Green School for Boys. Staff will have the opportunity to work across both schools. This is an exciting time to join the Trust as it continues to grow and develop.

This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. About us:

The Green School for Boys is a Church of England secondary free school situated in Isleworth, Hounslow, in Greater London. The school opened in September 2017 for 120 boys in temporary accommodation. In 2020 the school moved into its fantastic purpose built building and is now a five form entry school. The school was opened by The Green School Trust which also runs the highly successful Green School for Girls. The boys' Sixth Form is run in consortium with The Green School for Girls Sixth Form.

How the Trust works:

The Green School for Boys and The Green School for Girls are located across the road from one another. This proximity enables close collaboration and support between the two schools whilst allowing each school to develop its distinct offer. The Trust aims to balance consistency with creativity and freedom. For example: we do have a number of policies that apply to both schools; we do not have set schemes of learning that have to be taught at the same time in the same way at both schools. Staff from both schools benefit from joint training and moderation and some staff work across both schools. There is a strong sense of "family" in the Trust amongst the staff, and as the boys' school has grown there are also an increasing number of siblings who attend both schools.
