What We're Looking For - Essential Skills:

Confident operating 14T/16T machines for coping and pile cap digging Skilled in digging strip foundations Keen eye for detail on finishing works (topsoil, levelling muck, type 1, crush, road formation) Experience handling trench boxes, manhole boxes, drag boxes, and trench sheets Able to read and interpret levels and drawings accurately Understands and respects dig permits before breaking ground Experienced working safely around live services, with strong service avoidance knowledge Competent in carrying out daily plant pre-start safety checks, inspections, and basic maintenance Diligent in greasing, cleaning, and maintaining machines to a high standard Proactive, reliable, and respectful towards all plant and equipment

Cards & Qualifications Required:

CPCS/NPORS Excavator +/- 10T Tracked

Desirable Extras:

Experience with GPS machine control Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets (Telehandlers, Dumpers, Rollers)
5+ years of industry experience
