Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Oversee food production processes, from menu planning to execution, ensuring consistency and innovation.
Manage daily kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Develop and implement standardised recipes, portion controls, and food safety procedures in compliance with health regulations.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise efficiency.
Ensure all dishes meet the organisation's quality standards before service.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and promote a positive working environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
Extensive culinary experience with strong expertise in food preparation and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
