We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and team management within our esteemed establishment. This role requires a passionate culinary professional with strong leadership qualities, extensive kitchen experience, and a commitment to exceptional food safety standards. The Executive Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining the organisation's reputation for outstanding cuisine and service excellence.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Oversee food production processes, from menu planning to execution, ensuring consistency and innovation. Manage daily kitchen operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation. Develop and implement standardised recipes, portion controls, and food safety procedures in compliance with health regulations. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise efficiency. Ensure all dishes meet the organisation's quality standards before service. Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and promote a positive working environment. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment. Extensive culinary experience with strong expertise in food preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Solid background in food safety practices and compliance with health regulations. Previous experience working in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure. Strong knowledge of food production processes and serving standards. Passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences through innovative cuisine and meticulous attention to detail.
