Execution Trader (FICC)

Location: United Kingdom (London - City of London, London) Type: Permanent

They are looking to add an Execution Trader to the high touch execution team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for trading a variety of products, including, but not limited to Credit, Commodities, Fixed Income, and/or FX (spot, NDF, options). You will have the opportunity to support and collaborate directly with our experienced traders and help improve high touch global execution. The preference is to add someones with experience in Credit products (Bonds, derivatives).

Responsibilities:

• Execute timely trades via execution platforms and voice negotiation.
• Actively monitor trading tools and alerts for new trades to execute.
• Provide feedback on market liquidity, trade structures/sizing, and counterparty relationships to trading management.
• Liaise between counterparts and operations team to assist with day-to-day bookings and settlements.
• Help with various ad hoc tasks from trading management and senior traders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
• Years Experience: 2-4 years, preferably buy side middle office or execution.
• Product Experience Required: Credit (Bonds, derivatives)
• Product Experience Optional: Fixed Income, FX (spot, NDF, options), Commodities, Vol (FX, Listed), and/or Equities (EFP, Vol)
• Proficient/Strong in MS Excel
• Knowledge and experience with Bloomberg
• Familiarity with programming language such as VBA or Python
