We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide high quality, professional administrative executive support to research in the School of Psychology & Clinical Language Sciences.
This role will require previous knowledge of research administration within a higher education environment. A good understanding of University systems and processes is essential. This role will be based on the Whiteknights campus.
Staff will have some control of their own workload and priorities and work without close daily supervision. The role will support the enhancement of the service provided within the School, through the development of new processes and the implementation of service improvements. This role will support research activity.
You will have:
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Previous experience and knowledge of research in a higher education environment in an administrative support role
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to provide a high standard of customer service
A basic understanding of data principles and data management practices, as well as familiarity with on-line processes and web-based systems and with standard office systems and procedures
Ability to balance competing priorities and meet set deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals
Experience of resolving issues and queries independently, providing advice on specialist but established procedures to a range of stakeholders
