Job Description

At United Kingdom Testing and Certification (UKTC), we provide market leading solutions for end-to-end testing, inspection, and full fire certification. We help clients to demonstrate their commitment to safety and compliance with all appropriate standards and building codes.

Due to UKTC's continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team.

In this pivotal role you will primarily support senior leadership in ensuring their time and focus remain on driving the company forward. You will be responsible for managing their schedule, overseeing communications, and providing essential administrative and personal support.

This role requires discretion, adaptability, and the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic working environment.

As part of the role, you will also engage with various external and internal stakeholders including our group Finance Director, Internal Accountant, Head of HR, Head of Marketing, Graphic Designers and Technical Teams with exposure to strategic conversations and decision making daily.

The role, whilst not for the faint hearted, would be fast paced, engaging, varied, and demanding whilst working in a collaborative, friendly and supportive, environment.

Only candidates with evidenced, practical experience at EA or PA level will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities



Managing Director's inboxes and diaries. Maintaining strategic plans and following up on actions. Arranging travel for executives where required. Aiding internal communication by gathering reports on behalf of directors. Attending strategic meetings with sales, marketing and operations teams and aiding with strategy. Calendar and email management at a professional level. Preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence. Coordinating meetings, conferences, and high-level engagements. Strategic tasks such as project management or conducting research. General tasks to aid the efficient running of the business including meet and greet of external clients and visitors.

Essential Skills/Experience



Proven demonstrable experience as Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. Experience working within an SME environment is an advantage but not essential.

Essential Attributes



High levels of proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Able to understand company priorities and align actions with organisational goals. Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing business and personal needs. Strong interpersonal skills and discretion due to the personal nature of tasks required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-42,000.00 per year
