Role Purpose
The role will heavily rely on a positive, customer focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will be working alongside the Technical & Waste Director on all day-to-day duties and tasks, include customer and account management, from the enquiry stage right through to invoicing stage, ensuring the customer journey is smooth throughout.
You will be working closely with external customers and clients, as well as internally working closely with other company directors and senior management, internal and external sales teams, the waste and compliance team, finance and customer service/ transport teams
Responsibilities:
Always maintaining a professional standard whilst working in a fast-paced business
Constant attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace high pressure environment
Answering/making external and internal calls providing a high level of customer service, following the customer call quality framework
Be willing to learn about the group to ensure all enquiries can be dealt with or passed to the correct department efficiently
First point of call for customers and contacts of the Technical & Waste Director
Reviewing and monitoring customers' accounts and spend, providing ad-hoc reports when requested
Processing customer orders onto the relevant booking systems
Diary management
Inbox management for Technical & Waste Director
Entering all quotations into the CRM system, recording notes and relevant updates
General administration duties including report production, data analysis, completing supplier/ subcontractor questionnaires, raising purchase orders and invoices, scanning, organising tickets, printing, and filing
Any ad hoc duties issued by Technical & Waste Director
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload and deliver to target
Key Skills:
Excellent I.T. skills, including all main MSOffice applications
Knowledge of the waste industry preferred but not essential
Flexibility to get tasks completed as needed with excellent attention to detail
Proactive personality and self-motivator
Ability to work under instruction whilst using own initiative where necessary
Highly organised with a polite and confident telephone manner
Driven and pro-active individual
Committed to providing first rate customer service
Ability to work in a pressurised environment
Dynamic and prepared to go the extra mile
