As part of Rothamsted's transformation programme, the newly created Executive Team are looking for an
Executive Assistant
to support the effective delivery of their roles as strategic leaders of the Institute. The Executive team will comprise a CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Finance Director and two Science Directors, based at different sites.
About the Role
As Executive Assistant to the Executive team you will be providing comprehensive high level administrative support, acting as a trusted partner, managing busy schedules, co-ordinating meetings and acting as the first point of contact for senior internal and external stakeholders.
This will be a new and exciting role which will play a central role in a values-driven organisation, providing administrative leadership, enabling governance processes, supporting key projects and providing both a facilitating and enabling role for ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly while also supporting more complex and strategic initiatives.
It is envisaged that the role will manage two administrative assistants that will provide administrative support to 6 Science Team Leads.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings:
Experience supporting senior leaders in a strategic environment
Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Confidence working independently and handling sensitive information
Excellent interpersonal skills and team leadership mindset
A proactive attitude and passion for making systems and processes more efficient
Excellent use of a range of computer software applications including databases and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

29,842 - 32,315 per annum
