Job Description

Hereford Contract Canning is a fast-growing and ambitious contract canning business, proudly partnering with leading drinks brands. Following continued investment and the acquisition of new customers, we are expanding our operations and are looking to recruit an Executive Assistant to directly support our CEO and Directors, on an initial 6-month contract.

Reporting directly into the CEO, the Executive Assistant will build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, helping to drive these relationships forward. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively across a range of projects, consistently representing the business professionally.

This is a full-time role, predominantly based at our Hereford site, with the potential of hybrid working.

About the role:



Act as the first point of contact and ambassador for the CEO, engaging confidently with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Manage and support projects with internal and external partners. Oversee the CEO's diary, ensuring a schedule that maximises effectiveness and impact. Participate in working groups and/or lead small projects to support the development of policies, processes, and systems. Ensure the CEO is fully briefed for all meetings, decisions, travel, and external engagements, preparing materials and coordinating briefing sessions with relevant colleagues. Liaise with investors and coordinate all board and senior management meetings. Produce high-quality presentations for internal and external audiences. Handle highly confidential information with absolute discretion and professionalism.

About you:



Experienced EA/PA with a background supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment. Excellent academic background. Exceptionally organised, proactive, and able to anticipate the needs of the CEO and wider Board. Proven project management experience. A clear, confident communicator who can be fully trusted to deliver work autonomously and within agreed timeframes. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Ability to influence, network, and build effective working relationships. Positive and energetic approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent attention to detail. An interest in entrepreneurialism and management. Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
