Role Purpose



To provide high-level, proactive executive support to the CEO, ensuring efficient management of priorities, time, and communication. This role exists to bring structure, organisation, and momentum to the CEO's dynamic workload, enabling focus on strategic growth and leadership across multiple businesses.

The Role



As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will be at the centre of operations, managing communication, travel, meetings, and projects across the Cove Group portfolio. You'll act as an extension of the CEO, trusted, discreet, and effective, supporting both strategic and administrative priorities. This position requires exceptional organisational ability, initiative, and emotional intelligence to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

Strategy & Delivery



Support the CEO in driving business priorities forward, ensuring key actions and projects are delivered efficiently. Manage and track multiple strategic initiatives across the Cove Group portfolio. Prepare documentation, briefings, and reports for meetings, ensuring the CEO is informed and prepared. Anticipate challenges, proactively solve problems, and maintain smooth operational flow.

Experience & Engagement



Represent the CEO and Cove Group with professionalism, integrity, and discretion. Act as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Support the CEO in maintaining strong relationships across partners, investors, and leadership teams.

Operational Management & Compliance



Manage the CEO's diary, meetings, and travel arrangements. Maintain systems, records, and confidential files. Coordinate meeting logistics, take minutes, and follow up on actions. Uphold confidentiality, data protection, and governance standards across all executive activities.

Financial & Commercial Performance



Support with expense management, budgeting, and reporting across business functions. Track and monitor key commercial and project metrics. Liaise with finance and operations teams to support accurate and timely reporting.

Collaboration & Communication



Build strong working relationships across all Cove Group businesses. Communicate effectively with clarity, confidence, and professionalism. Ensure information flows seamlessly between the CEO and key stakeholders. Coordinate with leadership and management teams to align business priorities.

Key Performance Indicators



Performance in this role will be measured through a combination of quantitative and qualitative indicators aligned to the Cove Group's PDR framework.

These include:

CEO schedule and priorities effectively managed. Key meetings, communications, and deliverables executed on time. Proactive management of projects and follow-up actions. Positive stakeholder and internal feedback regarding communication and support. Demonstrated confidentiality, professionalism, and initiative.

About You



You are highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing demands. You thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments and are motivated by challenge, growth, and impact.

Essential Skills & Experience



Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar senior administrative role. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of IT proficiency (Microsoft 365, Google Suite, project management tools). Social media management or marketing support experience. Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable



Experience in supporting executive leadership across multiple business functions. Exposure to creative, tourism, or hospitality sectors. Understanding of business operations and project coordination.
