In response to client demand, this role is extremely flexible for both you and the business. We operate 24/7/365 and you decide when you are available, using our advanced app on your phone. As a self employed person, you decide how much or how little you want to work.
Overall purpose
Transport clients to and from destinations in a comfortable, safe and efficient manner, delivering the highest level of service our clients have come to expect.
Main responsibilities
Transport passengers to and from destinations
Ensure the vehicle is clean and well presented (before and after)
Assist passengers with their luggage
Provide journey information
Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle
Ensure EET standards are maintained
Use the companies Mobile App to accept bookings
Ensure availability is up to date
Ensure the control call process is adhered to
Safe and legal driving practices are expected at all times
Notify control room with any vehicle or client issues
Communicate effectively the control room
Adhere to EET guidance and policy
Essential:
Full UK Driving License
Must be over 30 years old (for Insurance purposes)
Minimum of 5 years driving experience
Be medically fit to fulfil role
Professional attitude, being smart & presentable
Honest and reliable
Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills
High level of customer service delivery
Ability to use own initiative and work effectively as part of a team
Ability to adapt to change and respond positively to new challenges
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to follow instructions
Must be discrete when dealing with confidential information
Desirable:
Has worked in the industry before
Geographical knowledge of Scotland
Enjoy driving
Ideally a candidates will have previous experience of chauffeur and/or driver guide work, however, training will be given and for those wishing to apply for a driver guide position an interest in Scottish history is essential.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: 13.00-18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
