Responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability.
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and ensure efficient team management.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary to enhance productivity.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on fostering a collaborative work atmosphere.
Proficient in food production processes with a keen eye for detail in presentation.
