COMO Metropolitan London is a 144 bedroom property with 19 private residences situated in the Heart of Mayfair.

Role Overview:

As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading all kitchen and back-of-house (BOH) operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and service efficiency. This role oversees breakfast service, room service menus, event catering, and staff meals while managing kitchen production, stock control, storage facilities, stewarding, supplier relations, and operational logistics. The position requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and financial acumen. You will manage and mentor both the kitchen brigade and BOH teams, ensuring smooth collaboration with the Front of House (FOH) team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while driving operational efficiency and cost control.

Key responsibilities

Create & lead the chef development programme designed to facilitate the development of core and advanced culinary skills for all chefs Ensure the Senior sous Chefs are leading the day-to-day operation of the kitchen in an effective, inspiring and empowering way Drive and encourage our sustainability effort throughout all areas of the kitchen Deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining consistently high service standards and product knowledge throughout the culinary team Create exciting seasonal menus tailored to a variety of guests in the Breakfast, Room service & Events outlets

Commercially aware and experience as Head Chef within a hotel
