We are currently seeking expressions of interest from highly organised and self-motivated individuals to provide executive support to the General Manager Development.


The Executive Support Officer will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the General Manager Development and work closely with employees within the organisation to ensure actions are completed. You will be required to undertake tasks including word processing, database maintenance, diary management, project research, development of office management systems as well as preparing discrete and confidential correspondence. In addition, you be required to coordinate event applications including conferences, functions and meetings as required.


To be successful in this role, you will possess a proactive approach to work and a professional demeanour that will ensure you quickly develop working relationships both internally and externally. In addition to this, you will have highly developed communication skills, demonstrated organisational ability, attention to detail and a willingness to work collaboratively as a valued member of the Council's Development Division.


The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:




Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in the provision and coordination of administrative support at an executive management level. Efficient time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of autonomy and initiative. A team player with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally at all levels.
