The Regeneration & Strategy Directorate undertakes a broad and diverse range of services including Corporate Assets and Facilities Management (CAFM), Economy, Housing & Investment, Major Projects, Planning and Strategic Infrastructure. The whole team work in partnership to make Calderdale a better place to live now and in the future.



An opportunity has arisen to provide executive support to the Assistant Director for Strategic Infrastructure. The role includes providing comprehensive and confidential support to the Assistant Director including diary and inbox management, preparing agendas and producing accurate minutes, drafting responses to queries, providing support to the management team and acting as lead on small projects.



The role also has regular contact with key stakeholders, helping to ensure these relationships are maintained, and also helps to manage relations with various bodies/organisations, including Members of Parliament, Government Departments, Elected Members, Chief Executive, Directors, Heads of Service, members of the public, and service users in relation to complaints and compliments.



The role is varied and interesting and you would be joining a passionate and committed team. You would work closely with the Executive Support Officers for the Assistant Director for Economy, Housing and Investment and the Director of Regeneration and Strategy, providing cover as required and working as a team.



The successful applicant will have a track record of working in a similar role, and be able to demonstrate strong organisational and multi-tasking skills and abilities, be able to co-ordinate workflows to ensure deadlines and priorities are met, act as the key contact for internal and external stakeholders and identify and implement process improvements.
