We are seeking a hands-on, skilled Exhibition Stand Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience "on the tools," working in the construction, installation, or events sectors. You will be responsible for the safe, timely, and professional build, breakdown, and installation of exhibition stands and displays at trade shows, exhibitions, and events across various venues.
This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a passionate self-starter an opportunity to be at the heart of a fast-paced Installations team. If you love getting hands-on in a dynamic environment, this role is perfect for you.
What You'll Do:
Install and dismantle our stunning displays.
Pre-build stands within our warehouses to ensure everything is perfect prior to install.
Preparing all elements of an install ahead of build, including loading and unloading vans.
Ensure that all paperwork and processes and completed accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and dismantle custom-built and modular exhibition stands at event venues.
Load and unload vehicles with materials, tools, and stand components.
Read and interpret technical drawings, floorplans, and build instructions.
Carry out basic carpentry, panel fitting, signage installation, and lighting set-ups.
Work with a variety of tools and equipment (power tools, hand tools, lifting gear).
Ensure all builds meet safety, quality, and design standards.
Liaise with project managers, designers, and venue staff to resolve onsite issues.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Travel to and from national and international venues as required.
Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Skills and Experience Required:
Proven "on the tools" experience in construction, joinery, set building, or exhibition installation.
Strong working knowledge of tools, materials, and safe manual handling practices.
Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude when working with clients and venues.
Full UK driving licence (essential); CSCS card or IPAF certification (desirable).
Willingness to travel and stay overnight for off-site builds when necessary.
