We are seeking well experienced and personable hospitality professionals to join our team at Chello to aid in creating a unique and bespoke experience alongside the beautiful atmosphere and outstanding food standards we provide. The successful candidate(s) will be the welcoming face of the establishment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service and attention from arrival to departure. Initiative and anticipating guest needs will be key.

Prior experience in a hospitality setting is essential, however you will still be trained under professional hospitality standards.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently to optimise seating arrangements
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, hygiene and cleanliness
Provide attentive guest services, addressing any enquiries or special requests with professionalism
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including setting tables and clearing after service
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Handle transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, demonstrating good basic maths skills
Manage time effectively during service periods to ensure smooth operations
Maintain the cleanliness of any location a guest may interact with
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential; training will be provided for those needing a touch up
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills and time management abilities
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in an environment with peaks and lows
