About Us

Tension Twisted Realities is a fun, family-run entertainment venue offering immersive Escape Rooms, cutting-edge Virtual Reality experiences, and high-end Racing Simulators. We're a small, friendly team, and we're looking for confident, outgoing hosts who love working with people and creating memorable experiences.

Flexibility is essential

, and applicants must be generally available during the Christmas and Summer periods. Shifts vary, so please only apply if shorter shifts (2-3 hours) are practical for you.

What You'll Do

VR Host Duties

Set up and run VR games for individuals and groups. Help players understand the controls and get started confidently. Ensure everyone in group bookings receives fair and enjoyable playtime. Maintain a fun, safe, and welcoming atmosphere at all times.

Escape Room Host Duties

Greet and brief players before their experience. Deliver engaging story introductions and immerse players in their adventure. Monitor groups during the game, provide clues when needed, and ensure smooth gameplay. Reset rooms accurately and efficiently between sessions.

Racing Sim Host Duties

Provide guests with safety briefings and instructions. Assist drivers with their simulators and help resolve any issues. Ensure sessions run smoothly for both beginners and experienced racers.

Requirements

Must be 18+

(due to serving behind the bar). Confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking to groups. Excellent customer-service skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and flexible with working hours. Willing to assist with general housekeeping (basic cleaning/hoovering). Availability during busy periods (Christmas & Summer). Occasionally available on short notice. Experience is useful, but

full training is provided
