Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and hot and cold beverages, and assisting with various tasks in the restaurant environment. Your ability to upsell menu items and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Take accurate food and drink orders while offering recommendations to enhance their dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests. Handle payments accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for transactions. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices. Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A keen willingness to learn and adapt within a team setting.
