Senior Accounts Practitioner

to join our finance team at Bromfield House in Wrexham.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position within our accounts department, offering the opportunity to take a lead in managing financial processes and a career progression . You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all aspects of financial administration. Subject to the relevant skills and experience Part Time would be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting Supporting month-end and year-end processes Assisting with budget monitoring and financial forecasting Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders Mentoring and supporting junior finance staff Contributing to process improvements and system development

What We're Looking For

Experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally within a busy and regulated environment. Full Training in our specific sector requirements will be given. Strong understanding of financial systems and accounting principles Excellent organisational and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and in Accountancy and / or Payroll Software Ability to work independently and lead on tasks and projects in the team A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail
