The Experienced Administrator role provides efficient administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the office and site functions. This role involves raising and managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate paperwork and documentation, and supporting the weighbridge operations by providing cover during the lunch breaks, holidays, and sickness. Experience with Sage 50 and Weighsoft 5 daily to process transactions, maintain records, and support the accounts and waste operations departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Raise and process purchase orders accurately and promptly in line with company procedures. Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, confirm orders, and resolve any delivery or invoice discrepancies. Monitor purchase order approvals and maintain up-to-date supplier information. Follow up and collect all necessary paperwork such as delivery notes, invoices, and purchase order confirmations. File and maintain accurate electronic and physical records to ensure full traceability. Use Sage 50 for processing orders, invoices, and supplier transactions. Operate Weighsoft 5 for recording and managing weighbridge data. Generate and distribute reports as required. Provide weighbridge cover during lunch breaks, holidays, and periods of absence. Record vehicle weights accurately, issue weighbridge tickets, and ensure all data is logged correctly. Adhere to all site health and safety procedures during weighbridge operations. Skills:



Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within logistics, waste management, or manufacturing. Proficient in Sage 50 and Weighsoft 5, or similar systems. Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Confident in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to work independently and part of a team.
