Ushers Bakehouse is an artisan bakery and cafe on the outskirts of Hoole (Chester) and the Baltic Quater (Liverpool). Our story began 18 months ago with a passion for baking sourdough using the best possible ingredients.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our bakery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality baked products, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and contributing to a positive kitchen atmosphere. This role is suitable for somebody with prior experience in a professional kitchen or bakery and is able to lead the the team in the Head Bakers absence.
Duties
Assist in the preparation and cooking high quality baked items, including sourdough and artisan products
Follow recipes, SOPs, and food safety guidelines to ensure consistent quality and hygiene standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery
Support the team during busy periods to ensure timely, professioanl service
Assist with procurement management
Contribute to the development of new dishes
Skills
Experience in food production, preparation and cooking within a professional setting
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Provern baking skills or culinary experience
Enthusiasm for learning new techniques and developing skills in a fast-paced environment

Pay: 38,000.00-42,000.00 per month
