The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate baker who specializes in making delicious, flaky croissants, hearty breads, and artisan sourdough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods from start to finish, ensuring consistency, taste, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, mix, and bake croissants, bread, and sourdough following our recipes and standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workspace

- Ensure quality control throughout the baking process

- Monitor ingredient stock and inform the team when supplies are running low

- Work efficiently within a team to meet production demands

- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene guidelines

- Bring creativity and passion to developing new recipes and seasonal products

- Support the team in maintaining a positive and collaborative environment

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience as a baker with a focus on croissants, bread, and sourdough

- In-depth knowledge of different dough techniques, fermentation processes, and baking methods

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- A passion for creating high-quality baked goods and an understanding of the artistry involved

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work early mornings and weekends (flexibility required)

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with other artisan baking methods (e.g., viennoiserie, brioche, etc.)

- Knowledge of natural fermentation processes and sourdough starter management

- Previous experience working in a fast-paced bakery environment

- A creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques
