Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic Experienced Bar Staff with knowledge of cellar work and assisting with opening and closing procedures. An awareness to deal with the diverse customer base of a hospitality business. An important responsibility will be maintaining and cleaning the bar areas ensuring all equipment is well-stocked and operational plus adhering to food safety standards. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of drinks and contributing to the overall hospitality of our establishment. By creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and quality maintained drinks!
It will be beneficial if you live in Barry or nearby for ease of commuting. Kitchen experience would be ideal.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar areas, ensuring all equipment is well-stocked and operational. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly, ensuring compliance with licensing laws. Handle cash transactions accurately. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.

Skills

A passion for hospitality with the ability to engage positively with customers from diverse backgrounds. Understanding of food safety hygeine.
