Your role will involve serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Serve a variety of drinks and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for payments and change. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and enhance their experience. Assist in restocking supplies as needed and report any inventory shortages.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is essential. Strong hospitality skills with a passion for customer service. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A friendly demeanour and ability to work well within a team environment. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws.
