Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable experience every time they visit.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about menu items. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper change is given. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours. Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance your skills in coffee preparation and customer service.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for coffee and food preparation, with a willingness to learn more about different brewing techniques and beverage styles.
