We are seeking a passionate, experienced and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Assist with food preparation as required, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance with menu selections, creating a positive experience for all patrons. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance as needed. Keep the work area clean and organised, including washing utensils and cleaning surfaces regularly. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain a harmonious work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices is crucial. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and colleagues alike. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.00-17.31 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Work Location: In person
