Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices is required. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. A passion for coffee and food preparation is highly desirable. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: 12.22-12.55 per hour
