We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. You will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, contributing to an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring quality and consistency. Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients to provide accurate information to customers. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Keep the cafe area clean and organised, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for register operations. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing assistance and recommendations as needed. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Experience

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn about coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation is essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.22-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
