Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of beverages. Your expertise in hospitality and bartending will ensure that every customer has an exceptional experience. You will be required to manage your time effectively, maintain food safety standards, and assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the bar area.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management, including ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food safety practices. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service expectations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and cocktail recipes. Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a bar setting. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
