We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded in a timely manner. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our financial processes and will require proficiency in various accounting software.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
Prepare monthly financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial status.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions.
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately.
Good communication skills to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
