We are seeking a skilled and passionate Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, will have excellent knife kills for portion control . As a Butcher, you will play a crucial role in the food production process, ensuring high-quality meat products are prepared .
Responsibilities
Prepare and cut various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests.
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during the handling, preparation, and storage of meat products.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including tools and equipment.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Excellent Portion control whilst cutting steaks
Boning out legs of lamb .
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Butcher
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent knife skills with the ability to handle various cutting techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
A passion for quality food production and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
We are a family run catering butchers supplying meat products to the hospitality industry . Our hours are 5am to 1pm 5 days a week .
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 12.55-13.50 per hour
