Job Purpose

To deliver high?quality, person?centred care to clients in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.


Ensure safe, effective care in line with CQC regulations, care plans, and organisational policies.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Provide personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts, and support with daily living.


Maintain accurate records of care delivered.


Identify and report safeguarding concerns immediately.


Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.


Follow infection control, moving & handling, and health & safety procedures.

Safeguarding Responsibilities

Recognise signs of abuse or neglect and report immediately.


Support clients to feel safe and respected.

Health & Safety Responsibilities

Follow moving & handling best practice.


Use PPE correctly and follow infection prevention procedures.


Report hazards, incidents, and near misses.

Mandatory Training Requirements

Care Certificate.


Moving & Handling.


Infection Control.


Medication Awareness.


Safeguarding Adults.


Basic Life Support.

Qualifications & Experience

--------------------------------


Essential: Care Certificate or equivalent.


Essential: Minimum 2 years' experience in care.


Desirable: 3-5 years' experience in domiciliary, elderly, or specialist care.


Enhanced DBS and two references required.
