Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Catering Allrounder to join our small farm shop team, providing wholesome food in a retail setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food and customer service to use their skills within a friendly and rural setting.

Duties

Assist with the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with company standards . Assist with all aspects of retail sales and customer service Serve customers courteously, ensuring a positive experience Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the catering and retail areas of the farm shop, including tables, counters, and storage spaces Handle cash and card transactions accurately and process payments efficiently Engage with customers, helping to main our friendly and relaxed retail experience Be organised and manage time effectively during busy periods Organise stock levels and report shortages or issues promptly Weekend working is essential on a rota basis.

Skills

Proven catering experience in a commercial or other structured setting A flair for preparation and presentation of good wholesome traditional food Confidence and organisational skills to take on sole charge of our small cafe kitchen when required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and team members Good basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts Time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Fluency in English is essential

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 12.21-13.56 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
