Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen. Develop and create innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills. Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Proficiency in food preparation and production processes. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and management. A passion for cooking and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
