We're opening a

brand new children's residential home in Coalville

, and we're looking for

experienced Children's Support Workers

who are ready to help shape the culture, routines, and success of the home from the very start.

This role is ideal for someone who already understands residential childcare and EBD, and who wants to be part of a positive, energetic team where experience is valued and progression is encouraged.

Your Experience Will Make the Difference

Build strong, consistent relationships with children and young people Act as a positive role model and support less experienced staff Help establish daily routines, boundaries, and a nurturing home environment Support children with emotional regulation and behaviour management using trauma-informed approaches Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and key work sessions Accurately record daily events and incidents in line with regulations Work confidently within safeguarding and Ofsted frameworks
What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Children's Support Worker in a residential setting Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and professional boundaries Confidence working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and waking nights Calm, resilient, and solution-focused approach Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or willingness to complete) Full UK driving licence preferred Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain)
