This is a full-time Residential Childcare Support Worker position offering regular daytime shifts. You will be part of a consistent and highly supportive team within a structured, therapeutic environment.

Earn 12.50 - 14.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, with additional sleep-in payments of 70 per night.
Purpose-Driven Childcare Work
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 10-17 with daily routines, emotional wellbeing, education and personal development. Your work will directly help shape their confidence and future independence.
Therapeutic Training and Ongoing Development
We provide full induction, continuous training and development in trauma-informed therapeutic childcare. You will be supported by experienced managers who value reflective practice, teamwork and consistent care.
Key Responsibilities
As a Full-Time Daytime Residential Support Worker you will:
Provide emotional, practical and therapeutic support to children and young people
Build safe, consistent and professional relationships
Support daily routines including meals, activities, appointments and education
Encourage independence and promote essential life skills
Maintain high safeguarding standards and follow behaviour support plans
Keep accurate, Ofsted-compliant notes and reports
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and professionals
Promote inclusion, social development and positive engagement within the home and community
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Experience supporting children or young people (residential care, social care, education, youth work)
Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
Ability to remain calm, resilient and consistent under pressure
Understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries and child development
Flexibility to work full-time day shifts including some weekends
Desirable:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
First Aid training
Experience supporting young people with emotional or behavioural needs
Full UK driving licence
