Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence:
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure every customer receives a positive and friendly experience.
Order Preparation & Serving:
Accurately package and serve a variety of hot food items, including fish, chips, pies, and other menu items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Cash Handling & Transactions:
Efficiently and accurately handle all financial transactions, including operating the till/POS system, processing cash and card payments, and providing correct change.
Food Knowledge:
Maintain a good understanding of the menu, pricing, and daily specials to assist customers with their choices and answer any questions they may have.
Cleanliness & Hygiene:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the serving and customer areas, including counter tops, service utensils, and floors, in line with food safety regulations.
Stock Management:
Assist with front-of-house stock replenishment (e.g., drinks, sauces, packaging).
Teamwork:
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and fast service.
Essential Requirements
Proven Experience:
A minimum of
