We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in operating CNC machinery.
This role involves Machining a wide range of large one off fabricated parts / components and solid plate work, from various metals including mild steel, stainless steels and aluminium.
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the setting and operating or programming of 3 axis CNC milling machines (FANUC or HEIDENHAIN).
The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities and Requirements
You will have solid experience in programming CNC Milling Machines (FANUC or HEIDENHAIN)
You will be familiar with one or more of the following control systems: Heidenhain or Fanuc.
You will be an experienced CNC programmer Setter with at least 3 years experience in setting and/or programming 3 axis machinery to produce large fabricated parts and plate work.
You will have had previous Operating/Setting and machining experience with large sized components.
Be fully conversant with reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Be competent in producing high quality components.
Be able to use engineering measuring equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers etc.
Implement safety measures in accordance with company policies.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Salary is dependent on experience.
