Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the bid process from inception to submission, ensuring that all proposals are compelling, compliant, and aligned with our strategic objectives. This position requires a good understanding of the NHS supply chain and tender bidding process.

Responsibilities

Identify appropriate opportunities - Scan NHS procurement portals and frameworks to identify relevant tenders that align to our product portfolio. Lead the end-to-end bid management process, including planning, preparation, and submission of proposals. Collaborate with Medical Sales Representatives and the Sales Manager to gather necessary information and resources for bid development. Ensure compliance with hospital requirements and organisational standards throughout the bidding process. Develop and maintain a library of bid materials, templates, and best practices to streamline future submissions. Monitor and analyse bid performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into bids. Utilise Salesforce to help track opportunities and manage relationships effectively.

Skills

Proven experience in bid management or a related field, demonstrating strong project management capabilities. NHS/Public Sector procurement knowledge Proficiency in tracking bids and managing client interactions through submission portals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive proposals that resonate with the customer. Strong analytical skills to assess bid requirements and evaluate competitive positioning. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. A collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills to foster teamwork across departments.
