We are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Manager to lead our bidding process and ensure the successful acquisition of new projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in bid management, with a proven track record of developing compelling client-focused proposals. This role demands exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across technical, commercial, and operational teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.
Identify new business opportunities
Coordinate internal teams to gather and structure bid content.
Attend pre-tender meetings, client briefings, and post-bid debriefs
Analyse client requirements and tailor proposals to meet their specific needs.
Maintain a comprehensive library of bid documents, templates, and case studies for future reference.
Conduct post-bid reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in future submissions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members involved in the bidding process.
Skills
Proven experience as a Bid Manager or a similar role within a competitive environment.
Strong understanding of construction tendering processes, frameworks and procurement portals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate bid opportunities and make informed decisions.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
