We are seeking an experienced cook to join our kitchen team, preferably with wok cooking experience. As a cook, you will assist the chef ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
Duties
Assist with daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
Manage inventory, supplies and stock levels to minimise waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Train new staff members in culinary techniques and kitchen procedures.
Foster a positive team atmosphere that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Skills
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production.
Experience within a kitchen environment.
Excellent organisational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
A solid understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
