We are seeking a dedicated and skilled experienced cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. It's a busy day time Bistro, the menu includes Breakfast items, Lunch, Sandwiches and Jackets. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is eager to contribute to our Bistro's success.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation.
Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
