The Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic criminal solicitor or paralegal to join our team. While being a qualified Duty Solicitor is advantageous, it is not essential.

As an integral part of our team, you will engage in all aspects of criminal law, from advisory work and police station representation to proceedings at the Crown Court and every stage in between. This role offers a unique opportunity to further develop your litigation skills and professional expertise in a challenging yet rewarding setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and representation in criminal matters. Offer high standards of client care and maintain strong client relationships. Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring timely and effective outcomes. Collaborate with experienced solicitors to enhance professional development.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of criminal law and procedure. Proven advocacy experience or a strong desire to develop advocacy skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities. Proficient IT skills. Commitment to providing the highest standards of client care. Ability to deliver quality advice to clients and work flexibly to meet their needs.
