Experienced Early Years Practitioner
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified, experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our small friendly team. Ideally qualified to level 3 or above, but level 2 with relevant experience will be considered.
You must be energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated to working with babies and young children. A caring attitude is essential, along with a warm and friendly personality.
A sound knowledge of child development and working with an early years framework is required and the ability to implement exciting, challenging learning opportunities for the children.
Must be able to use initiative and work well both independently and in a team. You must be a good communicator and able to work in close partnership with nursery parents and outside agencies as required.
Safeguarding children is our priority and you will need to provide appropriate referees and abide by the nursery's Safeguarding Children Policy. You will also need to be DBS checked and register with the DBS Update Service.
The position is based on 4 days a week (30 hours) and we currently do not offer Term Time only positions. We are closed for the Christmas week and Bank holidays.
