We are looking for a fully qualified electrician to join our team working across various sites in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, completing electrical contracts safely and to a high standard in compliance with the regulations and guidelines.
The role will involve:
Working well within a team and on occasion, independently and unsupervised
Following and implementing all Health and Safety procedures
Ensuring all accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformances are fully reported
Travelling to locations across the Cambridgeshire area to carry out industrial and commercial work (with some domestic), therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. Some of our work may take you outside the Cambridgeshire region therefore you should be prepared to travel and, in some cases, work away
Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard
Providing professional assessments and advice to our customers, building professional relationships across each of our sites
Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
Installing, repairing, maintaining and testing electrical systems
Fault finding, diagnosis and undertaking essential repair works
Electrical isolation
Fitting conduit, containment and trunking
Electrical fixed wire testing
Reviewing maintenance work orders and ensuring all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work
Training apprentices and/or co-workers

Maintenance contracts
EV charging points
Periodic inspections
Stage testing
New installations
Installing new fuse boards
Installing and maintaining fire alarm systems
Emergency light testing
CCTV
Access control systems
Audio visual and sound systems
Insurance reinstatement works
Qualifications and experience required for this role:
Essential:
City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 Electrical or equivalent
Minimum two years experience
Full UK driving licence
Clear enhanced DBS check
Hold a current ECS card
Own hand tools
Desirable
City and Guilds 2391 (Test and Inspection) or equivalent
City and Guilds 2382 (18th Edition) or equivalent
PASMA
IPAF
Asbestos Awareness
Salary - negotiable based on qualifications and experience
Start date - as soon as possible

Working hours will be 40 hours per week Monday - Friday however timings will vary depending on the site you are working on. Shifts will be 9 hours, inclusive of a one hour break. Some of our clients request that we work outside of their operating hours meaning some late shifts will be required therefore, the successful candidate should be flexible.
