Proficiency in the following : LVT, Altro, Cap & Cove, Latexing, Carpet, Carpet Tiles, Tiling.
National travel required.
Commercial sites & Educational settings.
DBS certificate required.
We are seeking a skilled Floor Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and be proficient in using hand and power tools. This role is essential for ensuring that all fittings are completed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise fitting of components.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out fitting tasks.
Perform carpentry work as required, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship.
Engage in construction painting as part of the finishing process for various projects.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Conduct regular inspections of fittings to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Skills
Proven experience in construction, with a strong understanding of fitting processes.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Knowledge of carpentry techniques and practices.
Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
